Description
The Use of Force Instructor certification course is a must for any
instructor responsible for teaching force related topics; such as
firearms, defensive tactics, intermediate weapons, etc. This course will
provide intensive training on force related issues including, but not
limited to, Supreme Court decisions regarding force, liabilities
associated with the application of force options, as well as
organization issues associated with force related training. This course
is intended to enhance the participant’s ability to deliver training
related to his or her organization’s use of force policies, as well as
his or her ability to relate force related information to individuals
within the community or legal settings.

Force model evaluations
Proper documentation of force related events
Threat identification and assessment
Federal standards for acceptable level of force by law enforcement
Deposition and courtroom testimony
Considerations for developing force related training
