Description:
This course is designed to develop understanding and proficiency with a tactical carbine. Students will progress from basic handling and marksmanship skills to advanced shooting drills. This course will focus on techniques used to deploy the carbine in an urban environment. The student will develop skills that will increase their speed, accuracy, and confidence with the carbine.

Equipment Required:
Duty type, law enforcement rifle
Rifle and pistol calibers are acceptable
Iron sights with removable optics acceptable
Rifle sling (required)
Duty sidearm
Duty belt with holster and magazine pouches
3 handgun magazines
3 rifle magazines (required 20 round capacity or more)
Clothing suitable for all weather conditions
Wrap around eye protection, clear lenses for night firing
Ear protection
Cap with brim
Body armor
Knee pads (strongly recommended)
Hydration source
