Basic Auto-Loader Transition Course

Description:
The D & R Training Basic Auto-Loader Transition Course is designed to train participants in the safe and efficient application of semi-automatic handguns. Participants will become intimately familiar with the semi-automatic handgun, and how to effectively discharge the weapon. Participants will be required to demonstrate proficiency in dealing with various weapon malfunctions.

Topics to be covered:

• Weapon nomenclature
• Operator Level — weapon break down and assembly
• Operator Level — weapon care and maintenance
• Weapon Safety
• Weapon malfunctions (causes and clearance)

Equipment Required:

• 750 rounds of weapon specific ammunition
• Semi-Automatic Firearm (Excluding 1911 style weapons)
• Gun belt with appropriate holster
• Magazine pouches
• Minimum of three magazines
• Wrap around eye protection
• Ear protection
• Gun Cleaning kit
