TASER® X-26c Electronic Control Device (ECD)

Description:
This course is specifically designed for the civilian model X-26c TASER® Brand Electronic Control Device. Participants will be familiarized with the TASER® X-26c weapon and the law regarding its carry and use. Additionally, participants will be provided the opportunity to actually deploy the weapon system in a controlled environment to ensure they are comfortable with the tool as a personal protection option.

Topics to be covered:

• Florida Law related to the possession and carry of the ECD
• Weapon function and safeties
• Weapon storage considerations
• Weapon application
• Proper target areas for deployment, and more

Equipment Required:

• 2 fifteen foot cartridges
• Selected holster system
